Innocent Oceans began not as a brand, but as a passion project with a mission—to protect the oceans we love and depend on. Founded by Ryan Jean, a lifelong surfer and dedicated sea swimmer, Innocent Oceans was born from a deep connection to the water and a growing concern for the devastating impact climate change and pollution are having on our marine ecosystems.

As someone who spends much of his time in the ocean, Ryan has seen firsthand the effects of coral bleaching, plastic pollution, and the decline in marine biodiversity. The ocean isn't just a playground—it’s a living, breathing part of our planet that sustains life and balances our climate. Watching it suffer was not an option. Ryan decided to act.

Designed with purpose, and made from 100% organic cotton in renewable energy-powered factories, our apparel is both ethically made and environmentally responsible.

But the mission doesn’t stop at sustainability in production. 100% of profits from Innocent Oceans go directly toward funding two key initiatives:

1. Ocean Conservation Projects – Supporting grassroots and global efforts to protect marine habitats, reduce plastic waste, and preserve biodiversity.

2. Surf Therapy Programs – Offering the healing power of the sea to individuals dealing with mental health challenges, trauma, or social isolation. Surf therapy combines the therapeutic effects of the ocean with community, resilience-building, and mental wellbeing.
